The Venue at the Wolds Gliding Club

The Club offers a large function room providing that special venue
for occasions ranging from simple buffet meals for up to 140 people
right up to 4 course exquisite waitress served celebration meals
seating up to 120 people.
Together with an attractive bar, dance floor, extensive amenities
and 5 twin bedrooms for those long distance travellers, it
provides a superb venue.

The 'Club' has recently been awarded a licence for Civil Weddings for
which there is a charge of £100. Booking and payment of the Registrar
should be directly to their offices
Room hire is free for numbers greater than 80; a charge of £250
being payable for smaller numbers.
A non refundable deposit of £150 is payable upon booking.
A condition of the booking is that the 'Club' provides all the
food and drink for which a wide choice of Wines and Champagne
is available.
There is also a fully stocked bar with prices being amongst the
lowest in the area.
A wine tasting session can be arranged to choose your own
particular favourite for that special event
Music can be arranged from Disco to Live entertainment.
Alternatively you may book your own choice providing they show evidence of insurance and licence together with safety certificates.
